Lunch in the hut by the water
At the Nuoc Mooc trail, a vendor would bring food to us at the huts, where we'd lunch, and then have a swim in the crystal clear waters. Apparently these waters are fed from a cave system whose source is thought to be in neighbouring Laos. An exploratory dive was made at the spring, going straight down 50m (limits for conventional SCUBA) and not yet finding the bottom. Given the flow rate, cavers estimate this cave system could yet be the largest in the world.
